Beer Meat Loaf

1 beaten egg
3/4 cup crushed saltines
1/4 cup beer
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon dried sage, thyme or basil
1 lb. ground beef
Catsup

In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except catsup. Pat into a 7x3x2-inch loaf pan, or into a bundt pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven. 45 to 50 minutes for loaf pan, 25-30 for bundt pan. Transfer to platter and top with catsup. Recipe can easily be doubled, bake times remain about the same.
