All-in-one-pot Spaghetti

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
3 8oz cans of tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups of water
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp ground oregano
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup (1 sm. can) black olives
1/2 lb uncooked spaghetti

Cook and stir beef and onion in heavy 3 qt. saucepan until meat loses red color. Stir in seasonings and olives. Pour in three cans of tomato sauce and water. Bring to a boil. Break uncooked spaghetti in half and stir in a little at a time. Cover tightly and simmer 25-30 minutes over low heat. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and serve.
